When you bring a broken thing to be repaired and reused, you save yourself the (potentially very high) cost of buying a replacement, and you save needless disposal in our landfills. You might also pick up some skills or community connections while sipping a tea and munching on cake—all the better.
For a second year, we were pleased to raise awareness at events in Balmullo and with Dairsie Primary School. With the latter, our afternoon Repair Café on 23rd September supported pupil efforts to help the environment. It was promoted by Fife Climate Festival and Fife Climate Hub, at fccan.org.uk
